A friend of the Dog House suggested that Wayne Player’s Augusta antics might have earned him naming rights for the Dog House.
He’s off the hook.
In an unprecedented move, Sergio Garcia has earned and has granted Permanent Dog House Membership.
El Nino went above and beyond the call of crazy to earn that.
Garcia started on Friday at the Saudi International event by digging up a few sand traps.
On Saturday he went all out wild man and began taking chunks out of the greens with his putter.
It took players in the field to bust him as basically there were no spectators to witness the murder of the greens at the hands of Garcia and who know where the European Tour officials were, probably having a spot of tea in the clubhouse.
We should also probably throw Keith Pelley, the gutless Sheriff of the European Tour. Outside of disqualifying Garcia from the tournament, no other action was taken for the horrible behavior.
Garcia is now 40 but acted like he was 10.
Augusta National should probably drop him a little note as well.
