Scott Stallings wasn’t feeling very energetic. He was sleeping too much and described himself as “feeling like crap” the last couple of months.
A doctor suggested he try some DHEA, an over-the-counter supplement that can help increase testosterone production.
The only problem for Stallings is that is on the PGA Tour’s banned substance list.
Stallings turned himself in and ended up with a 90-day suspension. Although he’s not a huge name he is a three-time winner on the tour so this Tour-imposed vacation could be fairly costly to him financially.
In situations like this, there had to be some leeway by the Tour, but there wasn’t.
Just another example of sports most honest athletes.

Having a little fun off the links is ok, why not? He could use the rest, and money lost is no big deal for a golfer of his stature. Those who criticize him probably couldn’t carry his bag.
Go Rory, go……
