Common knowledge, as Arnie was America’s golfer.
The Ryder Cup had a place of honor at Arnie’s memorial service Tuesday in Latrobe. It was accompanied by Phil Mickelson, Bubba Watson and Rickie Fowler.
Earlier, Rickie Fowler had sent out a picture of himself and the cup, honoring Palmer with the message to Arnie that the trophy was back where it belonged.
Palmer would second that motion.
And somewhere, he was looking down at all of it, a happy soul.
