There will be a new rookie on the LPGA Tour in 2021 and she’s a major champion.
A Lim Kim, the winner of the 2020 Women’s U.S. Open, has accepted membership to the LPGA Tour. She’s begin play for the 2021 season.
Kim won the U.S. Open in Houston earlier this month, shooting three-under par to edge world’s No. 1 Jin Young Ko and American Amy Olson by a shot. Kim birdied the last three holes to win the championship in her first appearance.
Due to the shortened 2021 season, all tour members will carry their status into 2021, even if they would have lost their cards. Good for players already out there but bad news for Symetra Tour hopefuls. The top five money winners on the Symetra Tour received limited status on the LPGA Tour for 2021.
PGA Of America Shows COO The Door:
The PGA Of America had some Christmas season unpleasantries this past week.
Back on November 24 in Frisco, Texas, new home for the headquarters of the PGA Of America, Chief Operating Officer Darrell Crall got into some major trouble.
Crall was arrested by the Frisco gendarmes after he was alleged to have attacked his girlfriend of three years, Angie Jasso.
The arrest affidavit alleges that Crall pinned Jasso down on a counter and choked her, then threw her to the ground after she had refused to give her car keys to him at an apartment complex in Frisco. Crall was arrested and charged with assault family violence-impeding breath or circulation, which is a third-degree felony. He was released on $15,000 bond the following day and was initially placed on administrative leave from the PGA of America.
This week Crall was cut loose by the organization.
Here’s the email that PGA Of America sent to all its members:
Good Afternoon,
I’m writing to inform you that the PGA of America and COO Darrell Crall have mutually agreed to conclude his employment effective immediately. We will be providing a further update on operations and staffing in the near future. Please know that the PGA Frisco development continues to be a focus for the Officers, Board and staff and we will continue to move forward without missing a beat under Seth’s leadership in collaboration with the PGA of America executive team.
Hoping that all of you have a safe and enjoyable holiday season.
Regards,
Jim
Thus Crall is out the door. The “Jim” sending the email is Jim Richerson, the PGA Of America’s President.

Obvious. She’s Gonna be a beast. A masked beast.
Gonna be tough for that Pga guy to climb back up to that kind of kooshy position.
