The Esteemed member of our Dog House announced this week that they will be boycotting the concession stands at the PGA Championship.
Why you ask?
By now you’ve probably heard about the ridiculous concession prices at Southern Hills. Shame on the PGA Of America (Seth Waugh, shame on you). After the patron-friendly Masters it looks like grand theft with the prices at the concession stands this week.
First start with basics — $6 for a bottle of water!!! Talk about a rip-off.
A regular old beer runs $15 — if you want Brooks Koepka’s beer — Michelob Ultra — that’s $18. Note that a six pack of Ultra in Tulsa has a retail price of $8.99.
A Stella Artois will cost you $19.
The dogs are furious. They are not big beer drinkers but they do enjoy a cold one or two on a hot day.
Seems they’ve priced our dogs out of the beer market.
