It may be the most important of all the fundamentals in the golf swing — the proper grip.
But what is a proper grip for you?
Today, we have PGA Tour veteran member Larry Rinker showing how to match your grip to your hip speed.
Ah, hip speed. Younger players have a lot of hip speed (see Rory McIlroy). But the aging process cuts down that hip speed drastically — especially for players over the age of 50.
So what does grip have to do with hip speed?
Today, in his lesson video, Larry will demonstrate the most effective grip for median and slower hip speeds. And by grip, we’re talking about both the left and right hand.
It’s important to match your grip to your hip speed and that hip speed also has a lot to do with swing speed.
So sit back and pay attention as Larry gives some really good tips that just might help you with a better club release in your golf swing.
