There’s a never-ending quest for more club-head/swing speed at ever level in the world of golf
Who doesn’t want to hit the ball farther?
Today DogLegNews Director of Instruction, Josh Koch, huddles with well-known teacher Dana Dahlquist to discuss how you can create a more stable clubhead in your swing and how you can begin to add some distance via alignment of your arms at set-up.
The first thing you’ll see is the position of the left elbow at setup. For decades it’s been the norm to have it pointed at your left rib cage if you’re a right-handed golfer.
Today’s lesson shows how moving that elbow toward the target can start you on a path of finding more speed in your swing.
Josh and Dana will show how Bryson DeChambeau started with his left elbow in the old, traditional position but they’ll discuss how he’s evolved to where that elbow points more toward the target line.
Relax, sit back and enjoy today’s lesson — you might get yourself on the path to more clubhead speed.
