Angry Golfers? We’re sure you’ve met more than your share in this game and at one point in time or another, we’ve all been “Angry Golfers.”
The European Tour has great social media and the latest is something that blows away anything you’ll see on Saturday Night Live. It’s called “Angry Golfers” and it’s an incredible satire on a self-help group, led by Euro stalwart Tommy Fleetwood with help from Ian Poulter, who has known to be angry a time or two. The group also includes famous club-snapper Henrik Stenson, Twitter star Eddie Pepperell, Matt Wallace and new member Terrell Hatton, who is so well known for his self-degrading behavior from time-to-time. In one event, Hatton didn’t like a layup shot he hit on a par five and declared out loud: “That has to be the worst layup in the history of golf!!!”
This is really well done, it’s a must view.

Terrell Hatton Has Post-Victory Hangover In Dubai But Rallies On Friday:
Tyrrell Hatton was your winner last week in Abu Dhabi and apparently the glow of that victory wasn’t helpful for him on Thursday as the Dubai Desert Classic got underway.
Hatton opened with a four-over par 76 but on Friday he fought back in a big way and put up a more Hatton-like eight-under par 64 that moved him from 115th to a tie for 23rd with a shot on the weekend to hoist The Giant Silver Tea Pot (the trophy) on Sunday. He’s only six back of 36-hole leader Thomas Detry of Belgium who finished at 10-under with a pair of 67s.
First round leader Richard Sterne, who opened with 64 on Thursday, went 10 shots in the wrong direction with a Friday 74 that dropped him to six-under par. American Kurt Kitayama followed up his opening 65 with an even-par 72 and stayed at seven-under..
Young Scot Robert MacIntyre shot 68 and is a shot behind the leader at nine-under. Toomy Fleetwood’s 68 moved him into a tie for third at eight-under par.
Highest-ranked player in the field is world No. 4 Collin Morikawa, the PGA champ, who decided to forgo Torrey Pines to drink out of the wealthy well of six-figure appearance fees made the 36-hole cut on the number at even par. He followed up his opening 71 with a 73.
European Player of the Year for 2020, Lee Westwood, added a 68 to his opening 69 and is at seven-under par, tied for sixth and in position to contend over the weekend.
