Apparently Rory chose the wrong menu item on Monday in Shanghai, where he is one of the headliners in the WGC-HSBC Champions event that gets underway on television tonight in the U.S.
McIlroy was forced to withdraw from the event’s Wednesday Pro-Am thanks to a case of food poisoning.
“I’m not feeling great to be honest,” Rory said as he tries to recover for his first round tee time. “I had something a couple of nights ago and yesterday wasn’t great at all.”
