It was moving day at the Sentosa Golf Club and the world’s No. 1 made her move.
Ariya Jutanugarn’s 66 gave her the 54-hole lead at the HSBC Champions in Singapore after overnight leader Amy Olson faded.
Olson’s 71 dropped her into a tie for fourth at eight-under par.
Despite her 66, Jutanugarn has only a one-shot lead over Australian Minjee Lee, who was a factor in Thailand last week.
“I played with her for three day and tomorrow’d final round, I’m going to play with her again. She’s such a great golfer. I feel like she makes everything and has played so well the last three days,” Jutanugarn said of Lee.
The world’s No. 1 also has another goal on her mind for Sunday:
“One of my dreams is to maybe start like five years ago. I really want to win in Asia because I never have,” Jutanugarn added.
