While the rest of New England is searching for the lost Tom Brady game jersey, the man so often dubbed “The Evil Hoodie” will be wiping the mold and mildew off his golf clubs.
While the Texas Rangers mount their search for Brady’s No. 12, Bill Belichick will play in the AT&T Pro-Am out there at Pebble Beach and the other really spectacular courses that make up the rotation for the event.
Yes, this is the week where celebrities and big-wigs are paired with PGA Tour players, not in foursomes but two-man teams.
Along with Belichick, you’ve got some other big football names — Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers among others. Bill Murray has won this event before and he’ll be back to annoy basically anyone he wants. Please, no old ladies in sand traps, please.
Justin Timberlake is there, so is Toby Keith, Mark Wahlberg and the Great One — Wayne Gretzky.
When you are forced to watch him play golf, no one loves Raymond, as in Ray Romano.
Too bad Clint Eastwood’s getting up in years and doesn’t play anymore. Dirty Harry was always a favorite.
These new-age stars are all wusses compared to Clint.
But yes, Belichick will play. His handicap is around 16. Won’t be enough, wanna bet on the last time he played golf? His hobbies are football and frowning.
In the meantime, they’re still searching for the missing Brady jersey.
Maybe someone should check in the large pocket of Belichick’s golf bag.
