Billy Horschel is up against it at the BMW.
Last year, he put on one of the best-ever season-ending runs. He went runnerup, win, win in the last three FedEx Cup events and as a result, walked away with the hefty $10 million bonus money.
Today, he’s lucky to be at Conway Farms. He barely made it. He’s No. 67 on the points standing list going into today first round of action.
He’ll need to do what he did last year. He needs to go win-win for a repeat.
What are the chances? Based on his season to date, pretty slim.
He’s up against guys like Jason Day and Rickie Fowler who are in the top five and playing well in this season-ending chase.
And there are plenty of others playing well enough to come up with the kind of rally that Horshel produced last year.
