It was Bryson shooting 64 on Friday, Saturday, Collin Morikawa took over at the Hero World Challenge.
Morikawa put on a no-bogey performance and got his day rolling when he chipped in for eagle at the par five third hole. He’d add seven birdies to his effort on his way to an eight-under par 64 and cut overnight leader Bryson DeChambeau by nine shots.
DeChambeau’s 73 dropped him down to 10-under par and solo ninth heading into Sunday’s final round.
Brooks Koepka was closest to Morikawa. He shot 69 and was alone at 13-under par and will play with Morikawa in the final pairing for Sunday.
Patrick Reed (67), Viktor Hovland (67), Daniel Berger (69), Sam Burns (68) and Tony Finau (70) were all tied at 12-under.
After making the turn in even par, Burns eagled the par five 11th then ran off five straight birdies after that to get to seven-under for his round. But at bogey at 17 and a double at 18 ruined his back nine rally.
