Paul Creamer was all smiles after her opening 64 at the Evian Championship on Thursday.
Friday, she went the other way.
Creamer suffered a shocked collapse over her final six holes during Friday’s second round. The overnight leader had it to nine-under par through 12 holes thanks to 10 pars and a pair of birdies. Then things fell apart in a big way. She played her final six holes in seven-over, including a triple-bogey six at the par three 16th.
That opened the door for a host of players. Mi Hyang Lee ended up as the 36-hole leader after a 67 got her to 10-under but she has quality players on her heels, including the world’s No. 1.
Sung Hyun Park shot 66 and is tied for second with Hyo Joo Kim and Hall of Famer Inbee Park.
Creamer finished with 76 and fell all the way back into a tie for 24th.
