David Feherty may be just a little late getting on this train.
“I am not sure Tiger (Woods) will come back because it is a nerve in this back.”
So said his Irishness earlier this week across the pond in his homeland.
Okay, so Feherty isn’t sure about Tiger. So we pose the question: Who is?
Truth be known, the answer is no one, maybe not even Woods himself.
Jack Nicklaus believes Woods will be back. “Just give him time,” is what Nicklaus has said more than once when pressed about the possibility of Woods making a last-ditch run at Jack’s record of 18 major championships.
What Jack doesn’t know is the real condition of Woods back, that has now been surgically repaired three times.
So basically Feherty is joining a very, very large club.
It’s the “We don’t know if or when Tiger is coming back and if he’ll ever be good again” club.
It’s got thousands of members and now add Feherty to the club.
