Bryson DeChambeau, who clinched his 2016-17 PGA Tour card last week by winning the DAP, first stage of the Web.com finals, was under par again to open his play at the Boise Open.
DeChambeau shot a two-under par 69 that left him five shots off the lead of Adam Schenk. Schenk’s 64 at the Hillcrest Country Club gave him the first round lead by himself.
The top 25 money winners from the four-stop event will earn playing privileges on the PGA Tour.
