Dustin Johnson started getting his game in gear Friday at Glen Abbey with a 66 that moved him within three shots of the leaders at the Canadian Open.
Johnson finished at 10-under, three back of leader Kevin Tway. Tway’s 65 got him to 13-under par.
One shot back of Tway were Keegan Bradley and Whee Kim. Bradley’s 63 was low round of the day and came when conditions were tougher than Thursday’s. The win came up and made scoring a bit more challenging.
Some big names missed the cut. It came at four-under par.
Bubba Watson (even par), Open Championship runnerup Kevin Kisner (one-under) and U.S. Open champion Brooks Koepka (three-over) will not be around for the weekend.
First round leader Robert Garrigus cooled off big time. After his opening 63 all he could manage on Friday was an even par 72.
