Look, the PGA Of America has a huge bank account, huge net worth and it just keeps getting fatter.
The PGA Of America has cut a new, and very, very lucrative television deal with CBS that will keep their major championship (The PGA) on CBS for another 11-years.
This one stinks of big money, especially since the PGA is moving to May and will have a lot less viewer competition, which means bigger advertising dollars for CBS.
With all this loot being pumped into its coffers, you’d think the PGA Of America would give its members a break. You see “the members” are those hard-working golf professionals at your locals courses, semi-private clubs and posh country clubs that work hard for their money, taking crap from members, giving lessons to hackers with no athletic talent as well as running sweaty summer clinics for kids who would rather be playing video games on their cell phones.
So what does the cash-laden PGA Of America do? It jacks up the dues for those hard-working folks every year, without fail.
So it is without hesitation that we send the powers that are at the PGA Of America into the Dog House until we decide to let them out!
