Little Lefty has a one-shot lead at The Travelers but Friday’s biggest move came from two-time former champ Bubba Watson.
Watson’s 63 in the morning wave was the day’s best round and got him within three of Harman’s lead. Harman’s at 10-under after rounds of 64-66.
Flop of the day was Jordan Spieth, who made the 10-shot trick, going from an opening 63 to 73 on Friday at TPC River Highlands. Jordy fell from a tie for first to a tie for 25th.
Matt Jones and Russell Henley were a shot back of Harman, Bryson DeChambeau was two back.
Rory McIlroy cooled off considerably. After shooting 64, he managed just two birdies and a bogey Friday and was in the group with Watson at seven-under.
Masters champ Patrick Reed missed the cut by a shot. It came at two-under par while U.S. Open champion Brooks Koepka will be around for the weekend. He’s in at three-under.
