Inbee Park’s famous left thumb has flared up again.
Park, the Olympic Gold Medalist, will not play this week at the LPGA event in Canada — The Manulife — and she also announced this week that she won’t appear in the season’s final major.
“Last week I had to put on a cast to immobilize it,” Park said of her bothersome left thumb. She will miss the Evian Classic, the last major of the season.
“Definitely, my left thumb needs more rehabilitation,” she said.
She has no definite date to return to action.
