Jack Nicklaus had words of wisdom on Saturday for the 85-shooting Tiger Woods.
“Tiger’s running from teacher to teacher. He’s the only one who can fix what he’s got. He’s got to help himself,” Nicklaus said as he sat with Nick Faldo and Jim Nance in the broadcast booth from the Memorial Tournament.
“Not only surprised, I feel real bad for him,” Nicklaus said after Woods shot a third round 85, worst ever in his professional career.
“I don’t have an answer, an explanation and I don’t think he does either,” Nicklaus said of Woods.
Nicklaus also cited Woods few appearances in 2015.
“He doesn’t play much,” Nicklaus observed. “He’s got to play.”
