Fat John Daly should have stayed in The Dog House.
It’s a much safer place for him.
Seems Big John is already over in the U.K., taking in the sites and not doubt chugging down a lot of beer in the local pubs.
Unfortunately for Big John, he had an unfortunate meeting the an English spider.
Daly ended up in the back of an ambulance and was taken to the hospital. There he had to undergo surgery for an infection in that massive gut of his, which would be major surgery tanks to the major size of that boiler he sports.
Daly talked about it in his Twitter feed:
“My life chapter 84k: Craziest event! Was in England last week & incurred a spider bite, not really knowing it. Fast forward to Friday, mouth/mouth, compressions & unknowingly now in an ambulance rushed to ER all while on family vacation & straight into surgery! Removing what developed into a major infection in my abdominal area & treated for early sepsis all from a brown recluse! Thank you staff @Nemacolin @UtwnHospital My caddie has now named me ?#SpiderPro ?????? #photoistoographic #GladtobeAlive #InSomeSeriousPain“
One would think that after surgery and all that stuff that Daly would be a no-go and of course, that ended up being the case, a firm WD from JD.
Thus ends the JD playing in pain and the no buggy/cart issue.
In the meantime, message to John Daly:
There are no spiders in The Dog House — and the Open Championship will go on just fine without you!
