Jordan Spieth, America’s Golfer, put himself right in the hunt Thursday at the U.S. Open.
Spieth put together a steady round and finished with 68, three shots off the pace of Henrik Stenson and Dustin Johnson.
“That was a good solid day to shoot two-under par at the U.S. Open,” Spieth said afterward. “I would take it at the start of the day. Another two-under round tomorrow would be a great goal.”
Spieth shot even par 35 on the front then made his move with three straight birdies starting at the 11th hole. A bogey at the par three 15th dropped him back to two-under and he parred in.
