There is hope for us ham-and-eggers.
And there is brand-spanking new evidence that Jordan Spieth is just like the rest of us.
Spieth was spotted playing with a pull-cart last weekend at storied Royal Melbourne as he got in a little work before he defends his title this week at the Australian Open.
Can you imagine Tiger Woods pulling a cart with his tour bag on it?
Not gonna happen in our lifetime.
But there was Spieth just having a nice walkabout pulling his own clubs.
Where’s his caddie? Jordan got in early, Michael Greller is most likely there by now and will be looping for his boss.
In the meantime, U.S. country clubs should see this and think about allowing pull carts. Most don’t, they turn their noses up at them.
Sad.
But good for Spieth, or as the Aussies say: “Good on ‘ya Jordan!”
