Let’s face it, the PGA Tour is a grind.
Seems like there’s an event every week now and one of the great tasks is to manage a schedule, try and figure out how to get into top form for the majors. Take it from Jack Nicklaus — it’s all about the majors and how you perform in the majors.
With that out of the way, it’s important to get away from the PGA Tour as well.
A pair of very accomplished players are getting pretty good at that part of the equation.
Instead of opting for some easy money in the off-season, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas were practicing the art of relaxation this month.
Their destination this time was Cabo San Lucas.
Of course Smylie Kaufman joined them, he’s on their “invite” list. Tom Lovelady too, he’s J.T’s house-mate.
There were others, probably some prefer to remain anonymous.
The boys got into some night life, some Tequila (of course) and some barefoot golf.
It’s a great getaway from the grind.
Spieth and Thomas have game on the course.
They’ve also got game on vacation.
