Justin Thomas got his first PGA Tour win on the other side of the world last year and he returns to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia this week to defend at the CIMB Classic.
Thomas won at the TPC Kuala Lumpur and he’s got a pretty decent field to compete against starting Thursday on the other side of the International Dateline.
Patrick Reed, Ryan Moore and Sergio Garcia are making their first appearance since the Ryder Cup and those three will play the first two rounds together. Reed and Moore can rub it in about the Ryder Cup.
Paul Casey continues to be one of the hottest players on the planet and the Europeans are probably still wondering why he couldn’t have been put on the Ryder Cup team, still, Casey remains a favorite this week along with Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama and Adam Scott.
