Justin Thomas watched Tiger Woods win the 2000 PGA at Valhallah when Thomas was just seven years old.
On Monday night, the two grabbed a bite to eat at Woods Jupiter, the over-swank sports bar/restaurant owned by Woods.
Thomas brought the Wanamaker Trophy with him and Woods was gentlemanly enough to post the photo on his Twitter feed.
Monday was also the day the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office released the results of the toxicology report taken at the time of Woods DUI arrest.
Woods attorney has since appeared in court and Woods will enter into a diversion program.
But at least for one night, Woods had a chance to talk some golf with one of the game’s bright young stars.

Nice to see Tiger being a gracious host, and to hear of the diversion problem. As charmed a life as he seemed to have before the time Elin chased him out with an golf club, his life since then has been filled with problems.
Hope he is able to regain equilibrium and happiness in his life.

Just glad he didn’t hurt himself or anyone else when he ventured out of his home with four different prescription drugs and marijuana in his system……he was LUCKY!!!

Hi Tom,
Justin Thomas won the PGA for one reason–his approach/attitude. he has had the game for a long time now but he used to get mad and show it on every shot or circumstance that did not go his way. he stopped doing that and prevailed. he dad said so much on sunday evening on golf channel when asked what the difference was and he said maturity–he has matured. great lesson–let the bad shot go as quickly as it came……………
thanks,
bob

No doubt about the talent level and the good news is, he won’t be like these guys who change their swings every year and change swing coaches…..I think dad and grandpa have done a great job with him and he appears to be a nice kid…..Justin, Jordy and Rickie are the anti-Tigers as far as the way they go about their lives and the way they treat people.
