Keegan Bradley has never played in the Sanderson Farms Championship — but you wouldn’t know it from his performance for the first 36-holes.
Bradley shot 65 on Friday and stands at 13-under par atop the leaderboard at the Country Club of Jackson.
He’s two clear of first round co-leader Charley Hoffman (64-69) and J.T. Poston (66-67).
Monday qualifier M.J. Daffue (Duffy) is in at 10-under par after rounds of 65-69.
Defending champion Sebastian Munoz held a share of the first round lead but after that opening 64 all he could manage was an even-par 72 on Friday and he’s in at seven-under.
The surprise contender, five back of Bradley is Sergio Garcia. Garcia has two 68s in the books and has tried putting this week with his eyes closed.
As for Bradley, his last win came at the 2018 BMW Championship in the playoffs. He finished runnerup in 2019 at The Travelers.
