Brooke Henderson kept a share of the lead Friday at the Women’s PGA Championship but the player to beat over the weekend at Sahalee may be Lydia Ko.
Ko has won the last two majors on the women’s circuit and could make it three come Sunday.
Henderson’s 73 left her at two-under par with Miriam Lee on a day that saw the rains come and the temperatures drop. Only five players are left in red numbers at the halfway mark.
Lee’s 69 got her into the clubhouse with Henderson at the top.
Gerina Piller picked good week to play well as she is still looking for her first victory on the LPGA Tour. She shot 69 and joined Ko and fellow American Brittany Lincicome at one-under.
Tiger Woods may be on the sidelines but his niece is not. Cheyenne Woods shot 70 in the tough conditions and is tied for 11th.
