The rain took over Friday at the Greenbrier Classic and it cooled off Scott Langley and most of the field.
Langley, who opened with a 62, could only manage a one-under par 69 at the Old White course, he kept a piece of the lead but shares it with Jhonattan Vegas. Both are nine-under and a shot in front of seven players as the leader board is bunching up after 36-holes.
The day-long rain made it a little more difficult for the field. Bryce Molder, one of the group at eight-under, shot the day’s low round, a six-under par 64.
Tiger Woods struggled on the back nine with an erratic driver that led to three bogeys coming home. His final tee shot at the short par three 18th landed five-feet from the cup and that final birdie got him under par for the day and he’d join a group of 14 players at five-under par and four shots off the pace of Vegas and Langley.
The 36-hole cut came at two-under and one of the casualties was defending champion Angel Cabrera who struggled with rounds of 71-72 to finish three-over.
