“I don’t know, I don’t know…..I don’t know where I’m a-gonna go when the volcano blows”
— Jimmy Buffett, Volcano
LPGA players Azahara Munoz and Beatriz Recari figured they’d pick up a few extra bucks by playing in an outing in Bali, Indonesia before they headed over to Japan for this week’s women’s tournament.
One thing they didn’t count on was Mount Barujari deciding to go active.
Yes, volcano time in Indonesia and with the airport closing along with everything else, they were left wondering how they would get to Japan in time to play on Friday.
Nothing like your neighborhood volcano spewing a little fire and ash.
“The airport was pretty crazy,” is how Munoz described it in a tweet.
Hopefully they can figure something out and if they’re lucky, the volcano might calm down.
