When Lydia Ko decided to change everything for 2017, that opened the door for a new endorsement opportunity.
Ko, the world’s No. 1, has signed a three-year deal with South Korean apparel-maker MCKAYSON.
Ko will showcase her new threads when she makes her 2017 debut at the PSPS Handa Australian Open on Feb. 1.
MCKAYSON is also stepping up as a new LPGA sponsor. It will be the name sponsor of the New Zealand Women’s Open when it is played in Auckland next September.
Ko will also have input into new designs for the company.
Not bad for a fourth-year player.
