Masters memorabilia is a hot item these days, especially this week.
A ticket to the very first Masters, 1934 recently sold for $600,000. It was no ordinary ticket.
This one was signed by 17 or the 61 players including winner Horton Smith, Augusta National founder Bobby Jones and Walter Hagen. Iconic sportswriter Grantland Rice’s signature is on it as well.
This ticket is one of only three known to exist. Augusta National Golf Club owns one of them.
Golden Age Auctions has some serious Masters stuff up for grabs. We’ve already detailed the irons owned by Tiger Woods and used during the famed “Tiger Slam.” They are expected to bring north of a million bucks. Some Masters memorabilia being auctioned include: Sam Snead’s gold medal from 1953, a program from the 1934 Masters, a collection of more than 90 Masters badges starting from 1965, a Masters flag signed by 27 champions who attended the Champions Dinner, including Tiger Woods, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus, an Augusta National scorecard signed by Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, Gene Sarazen and Gary Player.
There all sorts of other juicy stuff as well.

Jon Rahm: No Soup For You, Or Advice From Tiger:
Jon Rahm learned early on that he won’t be getting any advice from Tiger Woods, especially when it comes to Augusta National.
“You might need to ask Justin Thomas,” Rahm said from the Masters on Tuesday. “There’s only one man in this field that hears advice from Tiger, because I’ve asked before and I get nothing.
Rahm got the cold shoulder from Tiger before. Rahm said he learned this lesson the hard way — twice. The first came during a practice round at the 2017 Tour Championship, when he asked Tiger for some tips about putting on Bermuda grass greens.
“He turned around and said, ‘It’s all about feel,’ and just kept going,” Rahm recalled.
“I was like, ‘Cool, thank you,’” he said, sarcastically.

Rahm needs advice on being the type of person people want to give advice to. That being said, if Jon was actually willing to listen, he would take that comment from Tiger and analyze it inside and out.
Tigers quick comment actually makes a lot of sense. That’s how Tiger has always worked. He gives these gems that seem like nothing but they are profound if people use their mind to break down and understand what Tiger is saying.
Bermuda has grain, which does require more feel. You have to have knowledge, but it’s true you also have to learn to feel it. There is more contrast on Bermuda. You have to put in the time to have a better feel. It’s that simple.
For Jt, he is tigers friend. They enjoy each others company. In part because jt doesnt attack Tiger with selfish questions. In fact jt doesn’t seem to ask much, he just watches carefully, which is probably the main lesson Rahm want to learn if he wants to spend time other Tiger.
In short, grow up already big Jon. Stop trying to think you can be like Seve or Sergio. It’s not the same. Rahm would benefit from becoming a lot more like Olazabal.
Is he even willing to help Jon ?
