It’s a given that most everyone out there has chunked what should have been an easy shot around a green.
Stuff like that drives us crazy and perhaps it’s the pressure of the moment.
Today, Larry Rinker, PGA Tour veteran member and key contributor to our Lesson Tee, shows us a go-to shot that has the most room for error — and hey, that’s a great thing.
Larry introduces us to the “Putt-Flop” shot.
It makes all the sense in the world. You can hit this shot with any of your wedges and other clubs as well like a nine or eight-iron. Larry demonstrates the shot with a wedge and then with an eight-iron.
Cool thing is, this one’s easy to practice and if you follow Larry’s steps for success, you will have a go-to shot when you’re feeling a bit of pressure.
So it back, pay attention — then head out to the short-game area and PRACTICE THIS SHOT!!
It will save strokes — no more chunks, no bladed thinners.
So click on the lesson link and add this shot to your arsenal.
