Canada’s golfing sweetheart turns out to be the country’s best athlete.
For the second straight year, charming Brooke Henderson has been voted her country’s Female Athlete Of The Year by the Canadian press. Brooke has nabbed that title three of the past four years.
She won twice on the LPGA Tour last season. After she won the Lotte Championship, she dedicated the victory to the victims of the Humbolt Broncos junior hockey team bus tragedy in Sakatchewan.
She came through in style at her country’s national championship when she became the first from her country to win the Canadian Open in 45 years.
