Rickie Fowler’s movin’ on up.
He’s leaving his old digs on the Loxahatchee River for new digs on the Loxahatchee River, just a driver, nine-iron from the Jupiter Inlet then on to the Atlanta Ocean.
Fowler’s getting ready to close on a hawdy-tawdy waterfront home at 5215 Pennock Point Rd. in Jupiter, not too far from the house he purchased a few years ago that was also on the river.
This new house sits on 2.7 acres. The current owner bought it back in 2012 and demolished the old house that sat on the property and built the new, $14 million modernistic structure that has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It’s a huge step up from Rickie’s old house that cost a measley $1.6 million.
If Rickie can close soon enough, he can watch this weekend’s Tour Championship from his new palace because he won’t be in the 30-man field.
Or maybe he can host the next Ryder Cup Task Force.
Whatever he does, he can practice a little, the front yard has a short par four hole constructed.
Still, it all looks very modest when compared to the Tiger Woods compound on Jupiter Island.
But hey, Rickie’s just 27.
A kid’s gotta have a decent hangout pad.

I’m sure there are plenty who feel as you do. Yeah, Rickie’s a good guy, good kid, the most popular kid at school so they put him on the team because he’s a good guy in the team room? I’d rather have a horse’s ass who wins all his matches!!
