Rory McIlroy In For PGA, Paired With Spieth and Zach Johnson

It’s official — Rory McIlroy is in the field to defend his PGA title next week at Whistling Straits.

He’s in the featured pairing along with Jordan Spieth and Zach Johnson. That puts Rory against the holders of the three major championships.

The trio will tee off Thursday at 1:20 p.m., CDT, 2:20 p.m., east coast.

Another feature pairing has Jason Day, Rickie Fowler and Dustin Johnson, three of the players to watch, paired and going off the 10th tee at 8:05 a.m., CDT.

Tiger Woods will play the first two days with Keegan Bradley and Martin Kaymer, they go off No. 10 at 8:15 a.m., CDT, Thursday.
