Sergio Garcia will become a married man sometime in 2017.

The popular Spanish star has announced that he and Angela Akins are engaged to be married.

Akins is a former college golfer, starting at TCU but she transferred to the University of Texas and graduated a Longhorn. She is a former reporter for the Golf Channel.

Akins and Garcia spent the busy holiday together and Garcia even took in a University of Texas football game.

Garcia starts the 2017 season ranked 13th in the world.
