The Arnie’s Army Charitable Foundation is more than $25,000 richer thanks to Rickie Fowler and Puma.
You might recall that Fowler showed up at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week sporting an amazing pair of high-tops, courtesy of his clothing and shoe sponsor — Puma.
The cool shoes basically paid tribute to the life and times of golf’s biggest icon and Fowler put a pair of these “two-of-a-kind” up for auction on E-Bay.
The bidding is over and the top number turned out to be $25,300.
Pretty good number considering they weren’t even “game-worn.”
The ones Fowler wore in competition will be split up. One shoe will stay at Bay Hill and the other will be at Rickie’s palatial Jupiter riverfront mansion.
Nice job, Rickie.
