Stephen Curry Edges Jordan Spieth For AP Male Athlete Of Year

A golfer has been selected as the Associated Press Male Athlete Of The Year.

Sort of.

You see, Stephen Curry is a golfer who plays a little professional basketball on the side.

He plays so well that he was last year’s NBA Most Valuable Player and this young star for the Golden State Warriors edged Jordan Spieth for the AP honors.

The competition was tough, in addition to Speith, Carry also edged American Pharoah, the first Triple Crown winner since 1978.

Curry is off to another great start with Golden State this season.

Should set the example for Spieth in the upcoming PGA Tour season.
