Hey, it’s the Ryder Cup.
Why not switch clubs?
That’s what Brooks Koepka, a Ryder Cup rookie, is doing this week at Hazeltine.
You wonder if that’s a good idea?
Koepka has been a Nike guy but with Nike getting out of the golf club business, Koepka is looking for new gear but you wonder if this week is the right time?
Koepka thinks so because at Hazeltine, they won’t have any penal rough, making it easy for the USA, a team that has a lot of power off the tee in its lineup, Koepka included.
“Pretty much our mentality right now is just hit it as far as you can off the tee,” said Koepka, who has ditched his Nike driver in favor of a TaylorMade M2.
So how will that work out?
Stay tuned.

Well, if he sucks he can use the Phil Rule and blame it on Love and not having enough time to test a new piece of equipment, lol……

Seems like an odd time to switch equipment, doesn’t it?
