Raise the Jolly Roger — he’s aboard.
Tiger Woods has made his way to Long Island, where his yacht, Privacy, has been awaiting his arrival to begin his prep work for the PGA Championship next week.
Woods was on the grounds at Bethpage State Park’s Black Course, getting in his prep work for the season’s second major championship and possibly his 16th.
Number 15 went in the books last month at The Masters and Tiger’s no stranger to Bethpage. He won the 2002 U.S. Open there and figures to be in the mix next week when it’s ball-in-the-air on Thursday.
The PGA Championship’s Twitter account showed Tiger working on his short game.
Tiger hasn’t played any prep tournaments for the PGA, choosing to rest after The Masters victory.
