Tiger Woods made a stop at Riviera Monday on his way to San Diego to get the good people in L.A. excited about the Genesis Open.
Woods sat and fielded questions from the media that gathered and here are some of the highlights:

“I played a lot, probably four or five times a week.”
On his upcoming schedule that will see him play four times in the next five weeks with a lot of travel involved:
“Yeah, it is a concern. Four of five weeks, that’s a lot of golf.”
Any new equipment in the bag at Torrey Pines?
“The three-wood, that’s the one I replaced (referring to the used club he found in a closet in Albany).”
On his current level of confidence:
“I feel good. I just need to get out there and see what happens.”
On Torrey Pines:
“I like that place!”
His game plan:
“Keep building, keep progressing. Get back, get used to playing tournament golf again.”
On the rest of the season:
“I need to have my health where I can prepare at an elite level.”
On The 2017 Masters:
“I’m thinking about Augusta NOW. The Masters is always in the back of my head starting in the fall. I’m getting ready for Augusta.”
