Tiger Woods is just fine, thank-you.
He says he’s feeling well, the back’s fine, he’s been practicing and playing and basically enjoying life at home with his children, who like children everywhere, can’t attend their local schools.
The Corona Virus has everyone “sheltering at home” and if you had to pick a home to “shelter” within, Tiger’s massive digs on Jupiter Island would be ideal.
Woods gave his first interview since the Genesis, when he apparently aggravated his back and was forced to withdraw from several PGA Tour events.
With the Tour shut down, like all major sports leagues, Woods has had time to recover.
Woods said in the interview that he’s basically turned “a negative into a positive” and “get my body to where I think it should be.” He’s been practicing and playing at The Medalist, his home club in Martin County. Palm Beach County has closed golf courses but The Medalist is in the next county. Tiger says he’s gone out to “hit balls and play a little bit.” He says would have been healthy and ready to go for the Masters had it been played this week.
The biggest challenge for Woods and the rest of the PGA Tour members will be the to manage the compressed season if/and/when golf resumes.
Woods said he’s already looking ahead to what could happen at some point in the next few months. He said he’ll have the challenge to determine his practice, rest and tournament schedule as he possibly looks at the three re-scheduled majors.
Woods was realistic however, saying: “All the things that are up in the air, we don’t exactly know when they’re going to be playing these events yet. Let’s take a beat on it.”
Like so many around the country, outside his practice, Woods has stayed at home. He even served up his Champions Dinner menu to his children and girlfriend Erika. He served the menu he had planned: steak and chicken fajitas, sashimi, cupcakes and milkshakes. Woods said everyone had a good time. He conceded that the dinner ended with in a food fight, cupcake icing flying everywhere. “I did take the (Green) jacket off,” Woods said.
In the meantime, Tiger has taken to biking around Jupiter Island and enjoying his children.
Like everyone else around the country, Tiger’s professional life is on hold.

tigers home life really look happy; or the complete opposite of that blaspheme that espn article tried to portray a whole back when Tiger was on his back.
There were some tough times recovering but tiger was never alone as was portrayed.
Anyhow
What a backyard to stay sharp with; way better than our family hitting into a net, chipping to body boards and putting on a 10 foot putting mat.
Why even leave for practice?

That back yard practice area is amazing, has every kind of grass on his practice greens…
