No understands better than Tiger Woods that time is money.
Heck, Woods raised $210,000 for Houston Hurricane Relief Efforts by offering a one-hour lesson by him at his Bluejack National Golf Club.
Woods was in Cabo last week, not to join the Jordan Spieth-Justin Thomas party but to open a new 12-hole par three golf course he designed. It’s called The Oasis and it can also be played as a three-hole course with a par three, a par four and a par five.
Woods shared that the 12-hole course could be played in an hour and the three-hole course in just over an hour. “I want to design fun, playable courses that bring people together and bring golfers back to the game” Woods said about his latest design creation.
Tiger’s time away from golf has let him spend more time with his golf course design business.
On the other end of the spectrum, he and other designers are caught up in Chicago politics.
A year after they announced that Woods would help design a course on the South Side of Chicago, the project is at a standstill.
Seems the city has focused on work to complete the new Obama Presidential Center.
Thus the golf project has been slid over to the infamous back burner.
So much for golf and politics.
