Las Vegas cannot resist Tiger Woods.
Not sure if he’s already been installed as the favorite to win the 2018 Masters but he’s a longshot this week at his little gathering down in the Bahamas.
The Westgate Las Vegas Superbook has come out with some odds and proposition bets for the Hero World Challenge and as always, they’re worth a quick look:
ODDS FOR THE FIELD:
Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas: All are 6-1.
They should be, they’re ranked 1-2-3 in the world and Tiger has chosen J.T. as his Thursday playing partner in the first round.
Rickie Fowler: 8-1.
Everyone loves Rickie, so does Vegas.
Justin Rose, Brooks Koepka: Both are 9-1.
Love Koepka with those kind of odds.
Hideki Matsuyama: He’s 12-1.
Koepka is in his head.
Henrik Stenson: 15-1.
Played pretty well last year, we’ll see how his ribs are feeling.
Matt Kuchar, Patrick Reed, Daniel Berger: All are 20-1.
Patrick Reed is no doubt placing a big wager on himself at those odds.
Francesco Molinari, Tommy Fleetwood, Kevin Kisner: All are 25-1.
No respect for the Race To Dubai winner.
Kevin Chappell, Alex Noren, Charley Hoffman: All are 30-1.
No surprises there.
And finally:
Tiger Woods: 40-1.
You know someone will take that bet.
There are also Tiger Woods proposition bets:
Over-Under on Tiger’s first round score: 71.5.
Over-Under on Tiger’s low round for the week: 68.5.
Over-Under on Tiger’s highest round for the week: 74.5.
There are also best on Tiger finishing in the top five, top 10, dead last and even withdrawing.
No doubt, somewhere, Phil Mickelson is looking at all these odds and prop bets and no doubt placing a call to his short-term investment broker.
