Tiger Woods hasn’t won the Masters since 2005.
That’s a long drought for a guy who knows Augusta National like the back of his hand, a long drought for a guy who has four, count ’em, four Green Jackets.
After his outing last week in Albany, seems the Vegas wise-guys may be buying into some of this Tiger’s Return Hype.
Vegasinsider.com isn’t buying it as much as some. Woods is a 27-1 shot there and if Woods is buying what he’s been selling us, mainly that he’s going to win at least 18 majors, then maybe he should drop a few million on himself at those odds.
Rory McIlroy’s the favorite on that site at 13-2 followed by Jordan Spieth (7-1), world’s No. 1 Jason Day (8-1) and Player Of The Year Dustin Johnson (9-1).
Jeff Sherman of Westgate Las Vegas Superbook holds Woods in much higher esteeem. Sherman has Woods right now at 20-1. He’s got Day as his favorite at 8-1, followed by Spieth and McIlroy at 9-1 and Dustin Johnson at 10-1.
