Every now and then you hear talking heads say some really dumb stuff, often extraordinarily redundant stuff.
Our favorite: “Each and every day.” That’s straight out of the Department of Redundancy Department — if you get our drift.
So Dan Hicks comes up with this one Sunday, speaking about Will McGee, who played for the first time in the PNC Championship with his mom — Annika Sorenstam:
“Will McGee, the young 11-year-old…….”
Wait a minute. Are not ALL 11-year-olds considered young? Are there any “Old” 11-year-olds?
We think not.
So we’ll give Dan a couple of days in the DogLegNews Dog House to teach him the word — REDUNDANT.
And perhaps the Dogs will make him the head of their Department of Redundancy Department.
