Natural choices for The Dog House might have been Patrick Reed and brother-in-law/lackey/caddie Kessler Karain. But no, when it comes to Captain’s Picks, the dogs voted not to allow Reed or his lackey brother-in-law entry into the friendly confines of The Dog House.
Instead, Bryson (The Mad Scientist) DeChambeau is today’s visitor.
DeChambeau brought a bulked-up body to the Presidents Cup matches but his game certainly didn’t have any beef to it. DeChambeau played in the required minimum two matches and went 0-1-1. To have an automatic qualifier benched is an eye-opener.
Tony Finau didn’t get any wins but managed three half-points as did winless Matt Kuchar, so they get a pass.
Note, DeChambeau will hang out with the slower-paced dogs during his visit.

I give Bryson a pass. The man is in a transition phase in a sport which does not provide any time.
