Cole Hammer and the Texas Longhorns pulled a stunning upset in the semi-finals of the NCAA Division 1 championship two weeks ago.
The Longhorns upended prohibitive favorite Oklahoma State.
On the following day in the finals, the Longhorns felt the other side of golf — defeat.
The Tiger Woods alma mater — Stanford — took down UT, 3-2.
In the process, Hammer got his butt kicked thoroughly by Isaiah Salinda of Stanford, 4-and-3. Salinda started the back nine of that match by winning four of the first five holes.
At the end of the match, Hammer barely shook Salinda’s hand, didn’t bother to look at him or even say a word. The true actions of a poor sport.
And for that display of snobbery, snubbery and just plan bad sportsmanship, Cole Hammer is hereby sent to The Dog House.
While in the Dog House, Hammer will receive obedience training from the dogs, including how to shake hands properly.
